I just got X-Wing Alliance working on my PC again, with update graphics. Definitely scratching the itch while we wait for all these games to come out.

It depends on which Patch you're talking about.

The plot of the original games are so much more interesting now that we know what's really going on.

Great, I'm sure the 1% of players who actually used that will enjoy it. The rest of us who had to deal with online cheaters, not so much.

No, it was destroyed by hacks. The mods and the cheats come from the same source - the exploitation of security vulnerabilities. Just because you used it for mods instead of cheating doesn't mean the cheaters didn't ruin the experience for everyone else.

Mario Kart Wii really was destroyed by this kind of stuff. Online was so much fun, until we started encountering guys with infinite stars every other match.

Honestly, for people commenting on how he's recording the woman: I would record her too. I wish there were camera phones when I was a teen and got in a car accident with a woman who lied through her teeth when police arrived.

With ZERO cognitive dissonance between the two. It's just two things she hates so she puts them together.

Minecraft is a little like Harvest Moon in the sense that the doing is it's own reward, but it isn't everyone's thing. It is far more of a big lego playset with some setbacks than a true game.

I agree. I really liked planning out my attack, and having some choice in how to do it. To be fair, the choice was rather limited, but the game also didn't more or less force you into one method.

Oh good, this is much closer to the Assassinations from the original game, which were great because there were multiple means to accomplish them and you actually had to plan them out.

The goat wasn't murdered, Jason. He was tranq'd.

Metal Gear Solid is a story about a clone and his progenitor as they fight an AI facist in a world with giant robots that sometimes moo. Also, one of the main characters is named after an Anime convention.

So a few year later and Stars are back, huh?

When I was teenager and I went to an Anime Convention with friends, 'cosplaying' as a popular character. At the time, there was a very popular thing called 'glomping', which was essentially 'running start surprise hugs' by young women and young gay men. The first time or two it happened it was weird, but I could

My wife was about 13 when it started. The hispanic guys in her apartment complex thought she was also hispanic and would call at her in spanish (she understands enough to know what they were saying).

The beauty of Legend of Zelda is that even if they give her a different name, you can change it back to Link.

As long as I don't have board 500 ships to upgrade my own, I'm happy that this is a little bit a rehash. I'm okay doing some boarding, but it just got old really fast, especially the ships that were more difficult to board. ACIV was fun, and the only real drags were trying to get enough cargo to upgrade the ship and

King's Quest is THE point and click adventure game. Calling it 'one of the hallmarks' is like calling Wolfenstein 3D one of the hallmarks of First Person Shooters of it's era. It wasn't just one of the better titles, it's what inspired all the rest.

Ah, maybe I read it wrong then. In either case, it seems like the Studio is just looking for funds to cover the transition.
