I feel like the Xbox 360 controller is the best just because so many games natively support it. Also if you own an Xbox, like many people, and you have four controllers already then all you need to do is pay $25ish to get an Xbox wireless receiver for PC.

One of my new favorite features is the ability to ask Google Now the release day of a movie and set a reminder a week before it comes out. I did this with Man of Steel and getting the reminder is like a little spark of excitement.
My brother got a Wii U and gave me his old Wii. I hacked it so it can now play NES, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, arcade, PS1, N64, GB, GBC, GBA, GameCube and Wii games. I have still yet to hear about a killer app for the Wii U.
