thanks. I guess I'll be getting an android phone then.

I thought he said that the government needs to live within their means and will need to make cuts. This doesn't look a cut. Oh that's right, he's a politician and speaks from both sides of his mouth.

@TareG: EXACTLY! I don't care what the creator's think it should be pronounced. The "G" is for Graphical and Graphical uses a hard "G".

@geekymitch: I've been toying with the idea of getting an unlocked phone, get an only data plan, and then use a mifi for my data needs. That would be great, but the US carriers may want to force me into a cell phone data plan even though they wouldn't have subsidized my phone in that case. I'm sure there is a way to

@OMGWTF_BBQ: The back facing camera would be good for apps like the constellation app or other augmented reality apps that need to display on the screen something slightly different from what's behind the tablet.

Hipstamatic? What is that? I'm not familiar with this term.

@Organized Chaos: Agreed. This is called "journalism"? Gizmodo is starting to grow into its reputation.

@Y2KGTP: Agreed. I hate that you need a gold membership in order to get the privilege of using a paid service like Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc.

@Se7en_speed: Subscribe to each channel? Heck, I'd like to subscribe to just the shows I like and lose all the dreck (i.e. Stargate Universe and forget everything else from SciFi/SyFy)

what's so wrong with tall videos? If you're displaying them on a TV, which is traditionally more wide, then it makes sense to rotate your device so the video is also wide.

@Jackstick: Many countries use the fiat system where money is not backed by a physical commodity like gold.

If they didn't do this I wouldn't be able to watch Conan since I've cut the cord and don't have cable. By TBS doing this they'll be able to get more money from advertizers since people like me will now have a way to watch the show and thus watch their ads.

I can understand needing a gold membership for Microsoft sponsored services like multiplayer game play and ESPN3, but what I don't understand is the need to have a Gold Membership for paid for services like HuluPlus and Netflix, Zune Marketplace, etc.

@♥♦ Goopplesoft ♣♠: Years ago it used to be opposite, but I think these colors switched around the 2000 election. Personally, I always see blue as a conservative color and red as a liberal color.

@Raidah: Agreed. I think debates like this should be an open book test. They should have access to their campaign workers, twitter, the web, etc. How they use that info is more important to me.

FYI: The people on MTV's Jersey Shore are NOT from NJ. They're from Long Island, NY. I've never seen people like who were from NJ. When I do see people like this in NJ, they are usually from NY visiting NJ.

@theaceplaya: Exactly! This is why Microsoft hasn't been too concerned about supporting Macs. It would be a fringe use case where someone would use a non-Apple (Microsoft to boot) product with a Mac. But since Microsoft has so much money and engineers, you'd think that they would get a round to this sooner. It may

@Niteman cometh: There will be phones on T-Mobile. Eventually WP7 will be on Verizon but since CDMA phones are not as popular worldwide, Microsoft had to choose the more popular tech at launch.

@JakeMG: Waxing Pedantic: The Mac marketshare makes up 10% or less of the overall worldwide PC marketshare. I don't think it would take a big chunk of the market, especially since that many people who own a Mac are fanboys. But I agree, they should still create a Mac version of the Zune software, even if it is just

@baggins_69: Here are reasons: iPhone is a closed garden. Android is open but it is all over the place and you must rely on OS updates from the wireless provider and/or the phone manufacturer. WinPhone is also a closed garden, but it seems to be a bit more open than Apple. This may be the compromise of the 2
