Lucy is really good brisk campy sci-fi fun that worked for me more than the dated, but quirky slog that is The Fifth Element. Probably one of the only good action movies with a female lead in recent memory too.

The Fast and Furious movies make the most money out of any mainstream blockbuster in large part because of the casting choices.

2 years into the new iteration The Best Show w/ Tom Scharpling remains a beacon of solace for me. I only got into the WMFU as it was on its way out, but now it's the closest podcast that feels like home.
