Hollywood likes making her make Jesse Eisenberg melt into a puddle, obviously there's some sort of archetypal sorcery at play.

After I read Under the Skin I'm going to get around to it. Even if you don't care I'll let you know what I think of it.
P.S. Favorite Kinks' lyric?
Nice! I can't believe I never knew about it, obviously I'm not as big a Kinks fan as I claim.
Obligatory Leonard Cohen's novel Beautiful Loser shout-out. Probably one of the only great works of literature by a musician.
I was surprised this show wasn't just presented as a miniseries. Where is this building towards?
I don't see colour only dead people, and that's why I am pulling the plug on this show.
Junkies are zombies! Teachers are prowling around on the beat like cops when they are not in the classroom. Teenage love being torn asunder by Berkley! Not a single cinematic flourish to engage an audience because AMC execs know that the Walking Dead brand is strong enough to sucker us all in for whatever drivel they…
The Casual Vacancy was a light but engrossing self-contained novel brimming with misanthropy that was a refreshing break from genre writing and I hope she writes another book like it instead of drowning in the piss pot that is the Harry Potter fandom.
Thanks for convincing me to watch eventually getting around to watch it before spouting off inane opinions

No, the Edgar Wright debacle.
I will defend the children having sex in the sewers scene, because the image of Stephen King typing it up alone is priceless.
Tim Curry was in his 50's when It came out, the actor who casted him was a kid in Maze Runner…knowing Fukunaga's work, the casting choice definitely doesn't seem like a natural fit.
This news actually upsets me more than Ant-Man, Fukunaga may have been the only directors capable of handling this material in a beautiful, nuanced and hallucinatory fashion.
Like that Brian Wilson biopic from this year, you could make a highly stylized version of his life and fill it with all sorts of great beginning of Tree of Life CGI and Tangerine Dream style soundtrack…but it will just be another biopic.
The ending was indeed awful, but as I stated previously as far as the video game film genre goes this is one of the only outliers.
Blame the Walking Dead for that. There can only be one!
The original Silent Hill movie was actually pretty great and as far as video game adaptations go it was actually watchable and it actually understood the spirit of what made the game so entrancing. I like my horrors beautiful, like Fuller's Hannibal or Suspiria, and this movie definitely worked for me.The acting and…
Glad that even on CBS Colbert still manages to upset people with a quote that is being taken way too seriously.
