I would sooner watch Visitor Q with my mum than Brokeback. VQ is about a dysfunctional family taken to its extremes, whereas Brokeback is about a man living in denial about his true urges. One of those would make me more uncomfortable to watch with.

I don't know, I felt Fargo leant too heavily on former Coen Bros. Setpieces. Still liked it, but found myself thinking 'Millers Crossing scene' or suchlike too often.
