Simply pulling that lever a few millimeters rearward engages the electric latch, popping the door open.
That’s definitely built on a Hummer H2. The side proportions are practically identical. The early 2000's GM truck steering wheel hiding beneath that gaudy re-trim is also indicative.
It could just be the NISMO 51st anniversary extravaganza edition with 3 extra hp and a brand new sticker package- or some such nonsense.
That’s what I thought. Doesn’t look like a real test mule, just a normal car with some new parts. Maybe a development vehicle for some new chassis parts or the like. Yes an engine swap would be nice, and this might be such a car, but we are still talking about a 11 year old chassis.

I mean, couldn’t *one* of you have given him a reasonable answer? The only non-troll answer is the Acadia, and he literally said he had no use for an SUV. I get that there’s a comedy element, but I thought there were supposed to be a few helpful suggestions?
Who knew those "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" and "If you can read this, flip me over" stickers were that expensive?
Wait who is paying that much for insurance?!
My father fought in WW2. I don’t know how accurate this was, but his view was that scrap collection, victory gardens, and the like were a way to help keep people on the home front invested in the war, rather than a necessity. In other words, taking a part off your car wasn’t going to actually make more tanks, but…
