The saving grace, though, is that all speedrunners deal with the same slowdown in these cases, so it's more a chance to breathe than an irritation!

Just finished Dragon Age. Still playing Diablo 3 and starting Suikoden on my Vita. Trying REALLY hard to not let Persona Q slip into my backlog...
This is a non-issue. The adapters are cheap enough, and if I don't need one, why should I be forced to pay for an extra one?
This article should be titled "How to Cheese the Grind". I find neither cheesing nor grinding to be fun. Destiny has been such a big disappointment :(
Whether or not it will be fun is still up in the air (so to speak). But regardless, it's going to be DAMN impressive. The fact that you'll be able to explore a near-infinite amount of planets and discover even more species of flora and fauna will be a sight to be seen.
No Man's Sky. That is all.
I just keep hoping they'll tone down the grind... It was fine at launch, but the expansion complicated a lot. My gaming time is pretty sparse. And while I love the shooting mechanics and the actual game play, I feel like the MMO elements are executed pretty poorly. I appreciate you putting things into perspective!
Something tells me this Codename Comet will be a full $60 sequel following Activision' trend of pushing yearly iterations for their IPs... What's your source on that image?
Sure, we'd love for it to expand with new content. But when you call 1 strike, 1 raid and 3 story missions an expansion, it feels a little ridiculous. The actual added content is in the neighborhood of 4 hours. the rest is padded-out fluff and grinding... If you don't see why that's a joke, you're the reason that…
If no one was bitching, nothing would change. Bungie is actively listening to the community. If you don't like my sentiments, quit arguing and quit YOUR unproductive bitching. Also, it wouldn't hurt to grow up and talk to people like an adult.
The intended audience is still being swindled into spending more time than necessary to obtain 3 kinds of currency to upgrade 1 piece of equipment. Maybe I'm not part of this "intended audience", but I'm glad that this is justifiable due to ALL OTHER MMOs using the same tactic. Nice try using bandwagon tactics. Two…
Sounds like someone is taking this a little too seriously. Also, Bungie does take advantage of us by making the game a time sink so they have time to crap out "expansions" before we trade in the game. Genius move and well-done consumer experiment by Activision.
We'll let you out when we get 10,000 retweets.
This could use a platform update. Dragon Quest 8, Suikoden II, and Kingdom Hearts 2 are available on more platforms, but Super Mario RPG is no longer on Wii Virtual Console.
Last night I played some Diablo 3 with my girlfriend and considered catching up on some Dragon Age or Far Cry 4. Let's see them stop me from that! Also, a DDoS attack on Christmas Day is kind of dumb anyway when so many people are spending time with family... They just wasted their holiday.
Best of 2014 right up in here! This should have been the YG track on GTA V!
Dat frame rate doe. :(
Any word on saves transferring from the original game?
Mike, one question: is there an epic scene where a bridge collapses? If not, I want my money back.
Who are you to say a game shouldn't be made? And journalism is about reporting news and providing reviews and in an unbiased way. Game journalism included. On the rare occasion that this site and its associates do openly pick a side, it's the side of human rights. What is there to flame about?
