It’s not possible if the seats are already sold out and you need to be somewhere for business.

No, the best option is to pay for the bigger seats, or take a car, train, boat or bus.
The only reason airlines get away with this is because we’ve told them, with our wallets, that we really do care more about saving money than being uncomfortable.
Airfare used to be a LOT more expensive, but it was also a LOT more

Jimbo, the airlines don’t have a “one size fits all policy”. Plenty of airlines have business class, and an enhanced economy class. You just have to pay for it. In the 80's, an average domestic ticket was nearly $1400, in 2019 money. You can get domestic business class for less than that.
If you can’t find a flight

It isn’t “I’m willing to inflict physical pain on that person who wasn’t able to get a different seat.”
It’s “I’m NOT willing to ENDURE physical pain because someone else didn’t get a different seat”.
There is a difference.

Yeah, I have to have proper over-the-ear headphones. In-ear just don’t cut it.

Lalie, on international, I’ve decided that until I lose weight, I’m paying for business class or I don’t go. I’ve flown from Michigan to India & back in economy, and I’ll never do it again unless my weight starts with a “1".

As for picking seats, check out https://www.seatguru.com.

Finally, if your SO had asked me to

I’m 6'2" and over 300lbs.
My XXXL-tall shirts cost more than the advertised price because it takes more material. I get that, and pay the premium.
Likewise, airplane seats are not fun for me, so when I’m concerned about leg room on a longer flight, I pay the premium for the more comfortable seats, or I drive there.
I

I was rocking around a gram of caffeine a day at some points a few years ago.
Granted, I was over 300 lbs at the time, too.
Still, that was too much.
For me, 400-500mg seems to be just fine, but I’m still over 300.

Jack,
Please tell me which parts of the USA need to be evacuated, and where we’re going to move everyone to.
Everyone on the East Coast, which gets hit with hurricanes as well?
Everyone near a river that floods?
Everyone near a faultline?
Everyone near where tornados strike?
Everyone living in an areas prone to droughts?

Bananas are like caffeine sponges for me. Any time I overdo it, those can take it down in 20 minutes or so.
—Edit:
Now I see the part I skipped past saying bananas helping is bullshit.

I wish people would focus on getting FairVote rather than seeing which party can gerrymander the most to punish the other one.
Both parties do it, and that is no excuse.
Go to FairVote.org and learn how we can actually fix this.

Regardless of your politics, this article is sound advice.

Apple iOS has a setting on showing true north or magnetic north. If enabled for true north, then digital wins.
Not sure if Android has a similar setting.

Let’s get this out of the way before people say it hundreds of times:
-Bikes often don’t come to a complete stop at stop signs
-Cars often don’t come to a complete stop at stop signs
-Some cyclists are dangerous jerks and sometimes end up getting hurt as a result, and rarely hurt pedestrians and other cyclists.

It’s my lane if I’m in it. That’s how right of way works and is very important in stuff like passing and lane changes.

The Beatles mixes used a lot of wide stereo, but the most prominent song I can think of is “California Dreamin” by the Mamas & Papas. The women’s tracks are on one side, and the men’s on another, with almost no bleed-over.
It becomes instantly obvious due to the call & response nature of the song.

I’ve learned to make sure my screen faces away from my body.

Just a standard warning about WiFi smart home devices: Your WiFi had better be working REALLY well if you’re going to depend on them.
I see so many people with marginal WiFi blame the products that are put inside a box on the wall for not having signal.
If you’re not confident in your WiFi, consider smart devices with

I was ranting about this and the lack of multiple users for Apple TV just hours before the announcement came that they’re finally doing it for Apple TV.
So, perhaps there is hope?

I dig this thing for starting my newspaper in the charcoal chimney for grilling.
It is seriously windproof, since it isn’t actually a flame.
I go months without charging it.
