People are going to end up finding a lot more “Out of Order” ATMs if they keep moving to smaller bills.
There is a really good reason for $20's being so common: They’re the largest bill you can easily get change for at a store.
It takes time and money to refill the bills in an ATM, so banks want the ATMs to have the

But now, I’ve just discovered that I owe a different person a tip that I didn’t realize I needed to tip. No one handed me a manual.
Now that we’re just adding people, WHY NOT add other people that provide services?

IT isn’t a tipping business.

the hostess/maître-d’ expects something for the request

Also, quit having sex with men that think pregnancy is a woman’s problem.
You know, the guys that complain in the slightest about wearing a condom or balk at a vasectomy.

Make up your own mind. Personally, it’s one of my top 5 episodes. I don’t get the hate.

1. Don’t comment on other people’s posts regarding GoT about how you don’t watch it. When I see people posting about gymnastics, scrapbooking, or sportsball, I don’t feel the need to point out how I don’t dig this thing they’re excited about. I simply keep scrolling and let them enjoy their thing. Hell, I may even

Let’s be honest: Even buying raw ingredients at a discount grocery store is convenience, compared to farming, foraging, and hunting for all of your food.
If some convenience allows me to make more money, like fast food on the way to a second job, then it is totally worth it.
We’re better off now that we can all better

Exercise caution if connecting two homes over an Ethernet cable.

In an apartment building, condo, or townhome, you’re likely OK in doing this.

If the buildings do not share the same electrical panel, or more importantly, the same electrical ground, you’re at risk of frying your gear if you connect them over copper.

I’ve

I don’t work for an ISP, I’ve actually deployed enterprise WiFi as part of being a network engineer.

I do get what you’re saying about how it isn’t a perfect bell curve. I was trying to simplify a bit for the audience.

Here is an actual waterfall image of WiFi traffic on channel 1:

There are edge cases for using channels other than the big three.
For example, one location I did some work at had a WISP using 1,6,11 to get service to people’s homes. Clearly, running your home WiFi on the same channels was going to cause problems for everyone.
Using 4 and 9 in cases like this actually does help. I

Sam’s Club has “scan and go”.
Scan items as you put them in your cart with your phone.
Swipe to pay when done.
Show door attendant your card & QR code, they verify quickly that you’re not stealing.
It is the current pinnacle of self-checkout.
The only problem: You can’t buy alcohol with it.
Fix that, and I’ll never need

Goodwill in Indiana, when I worked there 10-15 years ago, had a rotation:

-4 weeks in the store that donated it
-1 week at half-price
-Shipped to one of two distribution centers & sold by weight. Anyone could shop at the bulk rate centers, but the bin would only be out on the floor for a handful of hours
-Remaining goods

I’ve found it to be most effective to just let everyone deal with their own math or their own calendar. Tropic seems like a good solution if your team can’t agree on a single service for calendars, but it seems like a lot of extra work if you’re already all on Outlook/Exchange or GMail.
When I book a meeting, I look

The first puff of smoke from the failed O-ring was detected later on video analysis 0.678 seconds after ignition, 0.438 seconds after liftoff.
Challenger was doomed the moment those SRBs were ignited, no matter what the winds aloft were, or if a B757 was nearby.

If using something like Apple Pay, it is far more secure than mag stripe or chip since it uses one-time card numbers.
Even if someone skims the number, it isn’t really your real card number. It is a number created for that single transaction, and is totally worthless after you’ve used it.

That was literally a fatal flaw in the Space Shuttle design: the enormous fuel tanks run alongside the orbiter. Separating the orbiter from the fuel tanks is one thing, but getting it quickly far enough away from the tanks to avoid damage to the orbiter is nearly impossible. The orbiter is just too massive.
That is

If you stay below freezing, that’s cool
The problem is when it goes above freezing during the day, and below at night.
Now all that good walking snow is a sheet of ice.

Add to that the fact that California is very anti-gun. Employees are unlikely to be armed to defend themselves.

Boyfriend: “I’ll ask ya, did you send a message to Tom?”
(Alexia, send a message to Tom)
Boyfriend: “I can’t stand that dishonest jerk”
(Message reads: “I can’t stand that dishonest jerk”. Ready to send?)
Girlfriend: “YES, OK? YES I DID
