Yep. I'm on my 67th (I believe?) Kickstarter as a backer. I have yet to be disappointed. Sure, some have been later than anticipated, but never have I come across someone just failing to deliver.

The simplest solution is to never put more money into any Kickstarter than you are willing to lose.
