Moving expenses is an above-the-line deduction. You can deduct moving expenses and still claim the standard deduction.

The majority of my clients that tried to do their previous return, missed a deduction or it was incorrect. I just amended someone’s 2014 return (they did with HR Block), netting them an extra $2,500 they didn’t even know they were missing.
