That's just cause your streets behind.

Talked to a lot of friends who disliked this episode, and vice versa, but we all agreed on one point. This was "streets ahead" of either of the first 2 seasons episode two.

Excellent points.

Spot on sir.

OMG it was Dean Thomas. I couldn't place it.

A bit of throwaway at the very end, but I'd like to see what everyone thought. After all the dialogue had ended, he looks around the room and sees everyone and his face seems to light up when he sees Yasmine, then falls when he sees who she is with.

I don't think it was pulled out of thin air, but extremely simple. And him being Sherlock, and with the amount of reading he did on the Major, he should have known the target right away.

Mini Spoilerish.

I'll probably get a lot of flack for this, but here goes. The art style is not as bad as everyone thinks.

I'm sure within these 600+ comments someone put this up, but that scene with Barney playing Richard Dawson was from a past episode. The one where Robin floats on clouds, and Barney states he's an 8. A B+.

I misspoke. The 2 episodes indirectly tie into my conclusion below of why he did not contact him.

I know this is such a small part in the episode, but my favorite part is when Mycroft corrects Holmes on where John slept when he spent the night with his girlfriend.

That's why I gave it an A+. Just amazing TV.

Fair assessment. Season 2 opener is probably the most divisive among fans. I feel 2 scenes, could be changed and everyone would love it.

Agreed. His performance went up in season 3.

It's that ending at the mansion. Lowered mine a whole letter.

He said moriarty killed him, hence his reliance on Molly producing the body.

SPOLIERS FOR ANYONE FOLLOWING THIS THREAD

Agreed with everything you said. If you want something close to that they have UK law and order. Watched it twice. Still not sure how I feel about it.

I think after watching the next 2 episodes you might have a better answer.
