Why does God need a Starship?

I'm not totally certain that the role of a fighter pilot will be truely eliminated in the future. To be honest, I see fighters with a matching swarm of semi-automous drones acting both to defend and attack targets that would be intercepting the main fighter.

If you make it where you can choose to do the ultimate skateboard thing or just sit down and bobsled it, it'd be kinda cool. Lugeing it would be a bit much I think.

With advanced Micro Gravity construction techniques, much larger component structures could be built in a fraction of the time that it would take on a planet. Something the size of an aircraft carrier would take months to build and outfit instead of the years it takes today.

You know, if they got rid of all teh Star Wars elements and set up their own Universe, (Perhaps a "Worlds within Worlds" type of scenerio_ this could still be the basis of a pretty interetsing game, or maybe even an MMORPG.
