I smell yet another Tesla class-action lawsuit coming.

Good. Maybe used prices will come down a bit. When we were 25 my wife and I set a goal to retire and travel full time at the age of 45. We are now 2 years away and it is time to start on the full-time conversion but base vehicles are in short supply and priced at CRAZY amounts. Use high-roof Ford Transits are going

B-Class RVs sell for more than C-Class RVs like the one you listed. Both new and used. The issue is storage, size, build quality, and gas mileage.

I converted an Astro Van and I have a similar layout. (Mine has a slide out counter that goes the full width of the van. Way less problem with food smells with an open kitchen off the rear compared to vans / RVs that have a kitchen inside the vehicle.

New you are looking at about 10K to $50K depending on size and features.

That lifespan is based on the taxi usage.

Which is why I specifically mentioned long-haul flights not short-haul.

Sorry but Musk didn’t change the world.

It what world is an 1820cc motorcycle “mid sized

The biggest letdown to me is 2 inches of rear suspension travel.  This will be like the Indian Scout I rode - great engine in a chassis with crap suspension that bottoms on moderate bumps and kills my back.

The last Blast came off the production line 12 years ago.   Erik Buell had it crushed because he was so happy that Harley wasn’t forcing him to build them anymore.

When did Social Security get “gutted”

What will you replace your wagon with now that BMW has killed off their wagons in the US? I’ve had VW wagons for almost 20 years. Now that they are gone and wagons are basically dead my next vehicle search will be wide open. I can’t see anything interesting from VW.

Another reply that doesn’t show.

The Outback hasn’t been a wagon for a couple generation now. The current Outback is a crossover. (Taller than a Honda CRV)

I guess I’ll reply to my own post since other people’s replies to it are hidden by Kinja and only show in my notifications.

Just the basics:

I’ve never had a car catch on fire.

National Rental Car must have bought them all.   On my last business trip half the available vehicles were minivans.

What wagon? Now that the VW Sportwagen is gone the cheapest real wagon sold in the USA is the Volvo V60 priced from $41,000.
