Bizarre is an understatement with anime. Should we go with the simplistic Tenchi Muyo which ended up with a polygamy relationship. Or Full Metal Panic which involved psychics. Just way too many examples to think of but usually it's not a triangle but some form of harem.

The whole Ellen,Tigh, and Caprica Six aspect was just horrible writing and planning. They neutered Ellen once she got back on BSG after having her possibly start to push Cavil around which was a nice change. Tigh just kinda didn't give a fuck about Caprica Six after the pregnancy who then just goes back to Baltar…

Sigh. It really was a goddamn mess at times. The whole Starbuck drama is pretty bad but the Tigh stuff is in a class of its own.

I've only seen it done in anime(mainly through Tenchi Muyo) probably because people are jealous bitches in nature and also the religious uproar I guess.
