@McGinge: Wow this looks like Reach, COD and a bit of Uncharted(with the sliding mechanisms) all rolled into one. Either this is going to be mindblowingly epic or a shitfest cobbled together from better games. Guess we'll find out in 4 days.

@Archaotic: I was being somewhat sarcastic. Microsoft however keeps bragging about exclusive content and what-not to justify the expense yet they pretty much have nothing to show for it. Although to be fair I don't know if this is Microsoft's doing or if Crytek just views the 360 as the pot of gold at the end of the

WTF IS THIS? Something on Gold that tries to justify the expense?

Or should I have used a picture of a cow?

@Fernando Jorge: It was obvious from the get-go that they were going to give it to RDR. I'm sure they've already heard the arguments for both games and they've long made up their minds about it whether they admit it publicly or not.

@dracosummoner: They did hint at it but yes it was somewhat of a surprise. They couldn't use Harbinger though as the the final boss for various reasons so they went with the 2nd best thing they could think of.

@Archaotic: Council changes, Virmire, email, background dialogue from the news, conversations from some of the side quests, and Tuchanka. While it was still somewhat limited, they did put alot of work into it. I spoke with a Bioware dev and he said that they had to limit the stuff atleast for ME2 because otherwise

@Archaotic: That's a difference in character design rather than just one character being better. Shepard's story IS your story because you make the decisions for Shepard unlike RDR where Marston does things on his own. People have made comments about how weird it is to see canon Shepard or other people's Shepard

@Vargras: No the problem is that people expected ME2 to just be an improved version of ME1 and instead they got a completely different game compared to ME1.

@Manly McBeeferton: Dude there was a shitload of background chatter and it was alot better too. Case in point: Ilium with the human, salarian, and turian. Best conversation in any videogame.

Honestly the planet mining is the biggest problem with the game and Bioware has done steps to fix that post launch. And before anyone says a game should be judged by launch then RDR's multiplayer was absolutely broken when it came out and shouldn't even be talked about. There are two major complaints about the

@Zieben: It always tickles me that some people are idiotic enough not to understand why other people need different things.

@Ladi: The PSP2 if it's as powerful as Sony brags will probably go for $400.

@AngryFork: A realistic price? Can you compare the 3DS to another 3D glasses-free gaming device so I know how overpriced the 3DS is?

So did anything else of value come out of this SE press conference? Considering the way they were hyping it up, I was expecting alot more.

Ordered 1 from Gamestop and 1 from Amazon.

@Culebra: I'm absolutely amazed that people didn't expect $250. They were either idiotic or lost in their delusions if they thought the 3DS was going to be $200 in the US while 30,000 yen in Japan.

I'm going to have laugh so hard at this post once the PSP2 is announced.

@Archaotic: However region locking and friend codes have nothing to do with the launch and everything to do with Nintendo's archaic thinking.

@peteer02: hates geofencing: Having the same problem. Study abroad student for the next year. What I decided is to buy the American version and have it imported to me to Japan. What that means though is I'll be seeing people around me with a 3DS for a month before I can get mine and for the next year I'm going to
