Jess and Luke scenes coming up next week! JESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! \o/

"duly noted"

I have always wanted to see more Paris and Jess scenes… I think her opinion would be similar to yours - he's the 'bad boy' but not the typical dumb kind, and it was also a big step in Rory and Paris' friendship.

I'm in the same club. I'm generally very closed off and not touchy feely… but man, movies/TV with emotions, I'm a wreck.

hey, we need some drama in these threads! I'm sure they're not friends or even friendly in real life, but yeah, I don't think I would state that they despised each other as fact, and use the word despised.

haha yes:

Agreed.  And I can't believe there's so much drama in a Gilmore Girls thread, about this of all things :)

yeah you're right. I think a lot of the weird/creepy behaviour (mainly Tristan and Dean) gets a free pass cause of the quirky small town charm thing the show has going but yes, his behaviour is ridiculous, and because of the tone of the show it's easy to overlook.

Years ago, there were rumors that Lauren Graham and Patterson didn't get along well on the "Gilmore" set. In a 2005 interview with TV Guide, Graham admitted that they weren't best friends, but said that it hadn't caused problems at work. "We're not intimates. We talk kind of how we talk [on

yeah, they had to rewrite the character because the execs were like, your show needs more dudes and potential for 'romantic entanglements'.

no, someone had to say it. I really doubt AV Club would stop doing these reviews as a result of that. It's a valid opinion and it seems a lot of us agree

oy! (with the poodles already). I will be honest that I agree with you, but part of me is just happy with whatever we can get. I've found with Gilmore Girls that people either get it or don't, and I'm just happy that AV club is giving it attention and we get to discuss it.

no you're not! RACHEL!!!!!!!!

I hope the recaps don't go on summer hiatus!!

If these episodes were dull (by definition of dull), then wasn't the entire run of the series dull?

at least you didn't say "mee mee"

I agree. When she snapped I was actually scared. I also felt bad for Jonah, cause I'm stupid.

actually, Janet wasn't that bad, just for that scene with Paris where she challenges her to a race

I also liked Tana. I wanted her to stay on as Rory's roommate. The other girl I wasn't a fan of, the athletic one … but Tana, YES.

I could swear that in the episode where Mrs Kim gets a late night phone call about Lane, you can sort of deduce that there is a Mr Kim-like shaped person next to her in the bed … I think this is the CBGBs ep with Lane's band?
