If only it were that simple. GPUs don’t typically scale well with clock speed. In real world performance the Series X will have more than the 20% advantage it does on paper. And that’s assuming that the PS5 is able to keep pumping at full speed all the time (spoiler: it won’t.)
Your blog post offers no clarification whatsoever. It says they expect most will be compatible but it's corporate speak. You'll notice they specifically omit the critical "at launch" clarification. Yes you'll get those 4000 titles by it'll be over time just like it has been for Xbox 360 BC.
It was DOA from the moment they announced the double dipping price structure. It would have been much more attractive as a Game Pass/Netflix style service. At the absolute bare minimum there needs to be a way to download your purchases. Game availability is only another mark against an already unattractive…

Minor typo. I pretty sure Deadpool isn’t part of this conversation haha.
“There’s a caveat, there, however: It’ll be up to the games’ publishers.” Not true. MS will be pushing those changes to ALL games. Per the Digital Foundry article...
That’s patently untrue. My order is timestamped at 11 minutes after the hour and had a March estimate. The May/June estimates are more people who ordered at 30 minutes after the CC processing issue was fixed.
Yes. Mine was estimated to ship in March. That information was featured prominently when I completed my order at 11 minutes after the hour. Shipping appears to be progressing based on the timestamp of your order. To emphasize the scope of the problem, there are some people (not all) who somehow managed to place their…
The game is coming to PC Steam next Tuesday. It’s been on PC since April of last year.
