It’s very funny to me that they are doing this. Scott does realize that he wouldn’t be governor of Wisconsin if millennials chose to live there, right?

Oh yes they do. If you see a Jack Daniels ad, you can bet it will have 2 things; some girls having fun, and a dude having an even better time, which might not necessarily effect you or me, but you can bet it has a subtle enough effect on an alcoholic to get them to buy the product.
You do realize alcohol companies intentionally market to their own version of “whales” right? Same marketing strategy, different demographic.
Yep, I’ve probably spent a thousand or so on micro transactions over the last 5 years. Fortunately I recognized the problem before it got out of hand and now I just flat out avoid it if at all possible. Good on him.
It’s evangelicals. Their religious beliefs give them a pass for these types of things so they don’t care. As long as Moore continues pretending to be Christian, they will vote for him.
Are there no options for legal recourse that businesses can take against ISPs? Or even basic consumers? Basically I’m wanting to know if this can be challenged in court.
Thank you for purchasing my book “Black AIDS Patients are Using Welfare to Buy Luxury Boats, and I Have Proof”. The title needs work but people need to know the truth is out there.
This is going to kill the US economy down the line. Imagine if the Grad Students that helped design the touch screen for the smart phones we use now had to pay taxes on their fake tuition? Well we wouldn’t be clamoring over one another to buy the new iPhone, that’s for sure.
How is this even remotely ethical? My wife just started her PhD program at Vanderbilt and receives a stipend of about 29k a year. I can’t imagine having to pay taxes on her imaginary tuition...
The kid isn’t old enough to consent to a contract. Not sure why they are suing....
She is a State fan. That wasn’t a “haha you got injured” laugh, that was a “haha we suck again I guess” laugh. The same way an insane person might laugh after a long day of being insane.
I was watching this with my Wife’s family when that happened. I could tell right away he went down awkwardly, the leg facing the wrong way confirmed it.
I used to know a guy who dated high school girls almost exclusively, also from Alabama, and he was in his twenties. He hated 3 things; being proven wrong in front of people, making fun of his preferred sports team, and someone else being even marginally better at basic tasks. I worked with him for 3 years and hated…
It’s really about the practice. EA is trying to exploit consumers through a game mechanic. It’s the same way the alcohol industry creates alcoholics. Exploit a small percentage of people that will over spend and obsess and thereby create a recurring base of customers.
The issue is that they are basically sneaking a slot machine into your home but disguised as a video game. While I have no issue with gambling, I do have an issue with a company or companies using loop holes in gambling laws to basically market it to kids.
Strange, most of the management at my company do the same as well....
You can tell the devs who worked on this game had a lot of love for Star Wars. It’s sad to see how EA has taken what could have been a really remarkable experience and turned into a cash grab.
It’s freedom is you aren’t a consumer. Remember these guys fight for Corporations. To them the consumer is just an obstacle keeping them from maximum profit.
Reading this made me physically ill. This man is acting like he is doing us a favor, like releasing his plan a day before Thanksgiving is some kind of grand gesture of transparency and not an attempt to bury a huge story in the holiday.
Yea, if your SO is never in the mood and doesn’t want you to masturbate that’s a recipe for disaster. And as for cannabis, yes, you are correct. At least for my wife it works.
