Just knowing what that movie meant, to so many people, it’s fucking heartbreaking. That character, Black Panther, was a breakthrough to so many people in my community who don’t often get to see themselves presented as majestic, dignified heroes on the big screen.

I felt the same way. Hell, I felt that way seeing him in Civil War. T’Challa seemed so…real. And he was so inspiring to so many people. I’m so sad right now.
