The point is, OTHER PARENTS have a right to know what kind of hazards their children are possibly being exposed to. Just because YOUR KIDS have been exposed to guns does not preclude an accident.

Actually, other methods of suicide have a much lower success rate that firearms, and often a failed suicide attempt is just the catalyst needed to get the person proper help. So even though many of those gun deaths are suicides, it does not mean you can assume that those people would have died some other way.
