Believe me, I thought my ex was the nicest guy in the world. And so did every one else. When it turned out he'd been living a double life for YEARS it was a shock to the system like no other. People to this day have a hard tim reconciling what he did with who they thought he was. He was the proverbial 'nice guy'

Awesome! My divorce lawyer told me that after nearly 30 years of handing divorces that if someone cheats and you take them back they will almost 100% of the time cheat again. Good of you for walking and getting on with your life. Never take a cheater back. They'll see it as an invitation to keep on doing it.

I should add that my ex, despite his rather active extracurricular sex life, blames me for the divorce. And tells our kids that 'everyone cheats, it's no big deal. Your mother overreacted'. His parents also say this to this day.

Horrible but be thankful you're out of that mess...and that he got what he deserved: a nutbag.

So he love bombed you and then gas lighted you? Wow. I'm really sorry this happened. What a shit.

Ex was texting maniacally all the time. My hinky meter was going off like mad but he kept his phone close. One night when I got up for a pee I noticed he had left it to charge. Grabbed it and there it was: he was cheating with some girl at the office. I wake him up in a rather special way, he says we've lost the

I used to bring them into the shower with me. It usually worked well: they got clean, I got clean, we had some laughs.

There was also a lack of birth control so there were a lot of whoopsie babies.

I had two and am very happy I did, even though my second was very difficult the first few years and it really changed our family and my relationships with everyone. Basically, I can't imagine my life without either of them. They're cool kids and bring a lot of joy into my life, as well as some of the usual headaches.

I don't know any more than I read in the Fail today. Must go read up as I'm bored and having the laziest day ever.

I think one of them took a picture of him while he was asleep in his hotel room. Dude is 22, on the road, he should probably just stay single for awhile. And the girlfriend seems to have packed a bag and left, so good on her for not dealing with any shit.

The One Direction guy has been accused of cheating on his fiance before. Yes, I read the Daily Fail.

The woman can't sing to save her life. Also, Queen of the Universe? The women you people choose to fawn over never fails to astound me.

Disagree. I have a cracking career and it was built on the above. I'm not saying do standup comedy at a job interview but show your personality and be interesting. Even the positions I secured based on interviews that went really well, rather than merits, built my skill set, btw. Nothing is wasted is another thing to

Can't agree. There are loads of ways to deal with relationship problems: talking, therapy, leave the person, etc. Cheating is cowardly and nothing you did 'made' her cheat. She just made a piss poor choice in how to deal with any unhappiness. You're more than welcome to take responsibility for someone else's choices

Best way to nail a job interview? Don't give a shit. Be yourself, be funny, engaging, look at it as meeting a new person who might be fun to party with. This has been my rule, always, and I've gotten job offers for positions I was completely unqualified for (I applied due to desperation and not wanting to be

He was bad casting when it came to Laurie. Laurie was like Byron...thin, brooding, a lock of curly dark hair tumbling down his forehead, a bit shy but still a bit of a player in the making. Bale? No. He's sarcastic.

Agree. Why not write something new? It's not like there aren't a million great stories to tell. Or maybe adapt a great book that hasn't yet been adapted?

I always figured both Jo and Laurie were gay and would have made perfect beards for one another back in the day. She'd get the lifestyle to write, he'd have a cool wife, they'd both be married to their best friend, and the house would be big enough for them both to pursue their own extracurricular activities.

Didn't everyone? Amy was annoying. Jo was cool.
