I live in Seattle, so a few days ago I sat down on the floor with my 4 month old and we talked about the pros and cons of each candidate and initiative, then filled out my ballot and mailed it in.

I used to enjoy the Ender/Bean books, until I learned about Card’s horrific brand of anti-LGBT politics. I’ve sworn never to read another of his books, and I’ve never seen the movie. I want his words to kill his brand forever.

And yet the one thing you chose to comment on (until this ridiculous diatribe here) was a cop’s honest and compassionate reaction to what had to be a completely horrific discovery. Excuse him for being human.

I thought this was common knowledge. All the house hunting/home renovation shows are “faked” in a similar way. Personally it doesn’t make a difference to me, I watch these shows for the entertainment value of judging other people’s taste (and learning about the real estate market in random foreign cities on HH

This was discovered about House Hunters a couple of years back and...no one cared. People watch these shows because they’re nosy about other people’s houses, not because they care about the buying process.

Now playing

Hand-painted Knights and Bikes will be published by Double Fine and has a new trailer. The game, originally Kickstarted earlier this year, tells the tale of two children exploring crazy shit on there bikes kind of like the Goonies. Its two creators previously worked on games like Tearaway and
LittleBigPlanet.

Men don’t like them if you call them a cunt, that’s for sure.

Could be!

It’s nice to see the follow up to that conversation. Maybe this can become a regular section? “The average gamer”.

Shirley’s the best. Even beyond the novelty of “elderly Youtube gamer”, it’s great to see someone who enjoys gaming without a care in the world for all of the cynicism and dickwaving of the community. Just pure enjoyment of the medium.

It’s me! I’m here! I hope you all enjoy my presence!

We literally ate dirt, discovered our parents’ porn collections, and beat the ever-living shit out of one another. It was a world class education. I still recall many of my fighting moves from that era (drop on your back and kick like your life depends on it).

This is pretty ridiculous. A lot of the times the creators of the fan games send us the games themselves, asking for coverage. Sometimes, the games are broadcast/publicized on platforms that have like ten times our traffic, and we cover them after they’ve made the rounds on the internet and therefore became ‘news’. I

Right!? Its a dinner party... also if one of my actual friends (not just a guest of a friend) made a comment about the music, the food, the decor ANYTHING - I’d be like OH YOU CAN LEAVE.

You aren’t about to come to my house. Eat MY food. Sit at MY table and insult MY music. BYE!!!

I’m about ready to unfriend on Facebook the brother of a friend of mine. I love this guy (my friend, not his bro). I was his groomsman, and we’ve been to several DragonCons in Atlanta. But i can’t in good faith pretend to friends with his trump cultist bro. I just hope it won’t cause to much drama with my friend.

1. Fuck you

No. Artists create art for people to enjoy. Beyond that they don’t owe people shit.

Bullshit.
