Who the fuck are you to talk about what “honor dictates” for this family that has been bullied by a very powerful institution that they are directly related to? They get to choose how they handle what happened to them within their family. The public gets to know only what they choose to share. Which is how it should

Another way this interview was similar to Diana’s is the idea of self harm and not getting any support. Diana talked self harm during post partum depression. Meghan talks about suicidal thoughts during pregnancy.

You can care for people and still point out that there are problems.

They’ve got a deal with netflix (similar to what the Obama’s have) and possibly another streaming site or two. They have an upcoming series about mental health.

I’ve made it a point to keep things business as usual regarding makeup, hair, dress during the pandemic. Sticking to a normal routine has been important to my mental health.

I’ve been “can barely get out of bed” depressed, and sometimes I would dress up or do my makeup. I’ve actually told someone before that the worse I feel, the more makeup I’d wear.

Looking stylish maybe makes her feel confident and she needed all the confidence she could get?

My favorite twitter takes on this whole matter:

I have little sympathy with anything “royal” but I have to give this young woman incredible credit for proving herself a truly impressive human being under unbelievable pressures just to be with the person she seems to really love, in the best and most simple sense of that word.

I mean, Jim Jones took people’s keys and passports down in Jonestown, too....

Of course they won't name names, look what happened to his mother. He wants to protect his wife and kids.

Probably because it will be televised and she wants to look good. I mean, I’d be barefoot and high AF if it were my sprawling Montecito estate, but that’s also why I’m not Royal material. (Or I’m PERFECT Royal material...*strokes chin*)

Having grown up in the UK, I’ve hated the royals, and everything associated with them, for as long as I can remember.

She said she then went to HR—“in my old job there was a union,” she noted—but they couldn’t help her because she wasn’t on staff, she said. (Sounds like the only thing everybody can agree on inside the Palace is that their HR department isn’t much use at all!)

I feel like I just watched a cult survivor story.

I really hope that this doesn’t overshadow tonight’s episode of “Allen vs Farrow”. They have some 60 boxes of evidence, including the case worker for Dylan Farrow. He was fired when he refused to back down from the case, and his supervisor quit a year later because Woody Allen was never charged.

Apparently, Tyler Perry stepped in and offered them not just a place to stay in the U.S. while they figured out their housing situation, but also covered their security.

The extreme amount of tea that was spilled and there’s still a mostly full kettle on the table.

So the monarchy hasn’t really changed; Kate will withstand anything to stay married (if this is what it’s like); and Heads Together is a bullshit charity if a member of their own can’t get help.
