and what really pisses me off?
and what really pisses me off?
I broke down this morning reading a transcript of what she’d said. Things are so fucking broken when people need to plead for others to believe their trauma by ripping their wounds open publicly, and you know she won’t be believed by so many people. Just like the Parkland kids/parents who have to keep reliving things…
Yup, same, I am tiiiired of weirdos hiding in plain sight in the entertainment industry and nobody having a problem taking money to deal with them.
This is the same guy that asked his daughter's gyno if she was still a virgin, none of this would surprise me if true...
I’m an actual K-12 teacher in a face-to-face/hybrid learning environment where students are only required to maintain a distance of 3 feet apart and they eat and shout and laugh with their masks off in the school cafeteria and our faculty was told to show up in person or quit. We haven’t been given the opportunity to…
We had a good one in Minnesota, when the Governor set up a vaccination clinic specifically for educators to get the vax so the schools can reopen. This is happening while many 75+ in the state are still unvaccinated.
From what I can gather the biggest problems in their ‘model’* was using a sing-up form that resulted in overbooking, and this guy talks that up as a big ‘disruption’ but, like, everyone is using an online signup form—it’s 2021—and it wasn’t even something they built, it’s just a software plugin to their web portal.
When it came to vaccinations, Philly Fighting COVID wanted to approach the rollout with “innovation” in mind.
“Disruption” is such a meaningless bullshit term. All it means is the company is going to try to make a quick buck by skirting laws that are in place to protect employees and customers. When a company says “We cut out the middleman” they really mean “we are going to BE the middleman”.
The amount of grifting that this pandemic has led to is f*cking depressing. Remember the guys who hoarded hand sanatizer and then sold it? The fake companies who got lucrative contracts to manufacture and sell masks? Now, we’ve got scammers running startups to administer vaccines.
There is always and ever will be some well educated white dude who thinks they know better than people with expertise and experience. The question I have is why people in government believe them? If ever there was a process that shouldn’t be “disrupted” it is vaccine rollout. JFC.
Ok, so let’s start with prison for young Andrei. He may literally have deaths on his hands by stealing promised vaccines to give to his buddies. Second, let’s end the jobs and careers of the people who allowed this to happen in the first place.
The Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium was right there and could have handled this much better, but as a life-long Philadelphian, I’m not surprised by this mess.
1. Mulligan is attractive. Seriously wtf.
I didn’t previously realize that the Hamptons have septic systems, just like every rural resident here in “flyover country.”
You’re talking like a Poor, darling. Please, my delicate ears. Now, have some water crackers and pate. I know, I know, but we have to rough it since the caviar shortages. But it builds character. As I was saying to little Portia just the other day during our weekly fifteen minutes of family time, these are the hard…
What’s a little extra heating oil? They don’t give a shit if it just goes out the windows. And if they’re cold they can wrap up in minks and snack on their hoarded supply of caviar.
Or not up for it. Plenty of “unattractive” women get raped, which is why his take is particularly obnoxious.
As I understand it, this film isn’t of the tired, exploitatively “hot femme fatale” genre: i.e. it’s not softcore porn for straight guys, so her attractiveness should only be marginally relevant. Of course no one is truly so naïve as to believe casting doesn’t or shouldn’t consider physical appearance, Mulligan was…
