Any thing by Anne McCaffrey just anything, I think the Pern novels would make a great tent pole for any studio, the books are full of great characters and with today's CGI the dragons would be doable. If not that her Freedom series would make great tv.

I just don't get the Leno hatedom, the guy rules late night tv, even his reruns get more viewers than Letterman or Conan. So while A.V. Club does not like him, lots of other people do. I have a feeling NBC will once again try to sign him to a huge contract in fear that he might take his show to Fox.

I was really hoping that the crazy guy with the trailer was going to be another Grimm. Since Grimms are better known for killing on sight and not  getting along with people like Nick does it would have been an interesting contrast.

NBC should give Leno a late night show on Saturday and Sunday nights. For the nights when SNL is in reruns, or totally sucks and for Sunday  when nothing else is on.  Only a 5th place network would cancel the only two shows that regularly win their time slots and make a profit.
