The problem with crowdsourcing, even among ER doctors, is that so few of them have any experience with epidemiology, that anything they offer would not come from a perspective of deep understanding or experience. This is what the epidemic teams and public health teams were supposed to do.

Hasn’t he learned? More children never fix a bad relationship.

And yet Jezebel demands that children be given free reign to have life-altering “gender affirmation” surgery.

Yeah, it was clearly in reference to the interview. This shouldn’t be a thing. It’s kinda depressing that people are so hot for the take-down that they will totally disregard, like, basic syntax.

Just the language these clinics use is enough to turn me off. It’s like those fucking awful Avocado mattress ads - it’s so blatantly transparent the type of social media addicted bobo hipster consumer they’re trying to reel in, I’m automatically turned off even if their product is good. Pandering is still pandering,

He’s actually not leading. He’s tied and technically slightly behind Pete Buttigieg. And again, my hypothesis is that the white, educated female voter that is the bedrock of Warren’s support were never supporting her primarily on policy grounds.

It’s not that perplexing. The voters we’re talking about are some of the more pragmatic voters you’re going to find. They may have liked Warren’s policy proposals, but they mostly understand that Warren’s policy wishlist has very little relationship to what a Warren presidency could hope to achieve. So they really

I can only offer my own thoughts on this I’m a white, college educated woman living in NH. I voted for Klobuchar.

Is there any value in pointing out that Zaya is Union’s stepdaughter?

Not only had a heart attack but said he would release his full medical info to shut people up about it.  Now that the drama about it has died down and hes won (especially against Warren) hes taken that back.  Hmmm who does that remind you of?

Very interesting that he chose to go with that particular transgression.

And he was staying there because he was released from jail and had no where else to live, according to one article I read. Honestly...Sarah Lawrence really screwed up. Seriously.

He was living on campus, bullshit there was nothing they could do. Students sign housing contracts which I’m sure stipulate how long “guests” can stay, so even if the argument was “her dad is allowed to visit”, after a certain period of time, which I’m guessing wasn’t all that long, the university had every right to

She called it “Harry Potter meets the modeling industry” and also “Disney meets fashion, beauty, and self-esteem.”

“When you’re put in circumstances that are questionable or negative or you don’t want to be in or you think this is the only way that I’m going to get the job, we know that that’s ridiculous.”

An armchair psychologist would say she sounds like someone who had a bad experience, blames herself for it and projects that blame on to others as a defence mechanism so that the self-blame won’t destroy her

He really thinks the world is a reality TV show and he’s the star.

* Except that kid and the other kids. It ain’t their fault their parents are the fucking worst.

So I had to look this guy up (“author” is thrown around a lot). He is a health insurance lobbyist who writes for The Federalist, Ben Domenech’s* online right-wing rag.

It is clear that she was exposed during the business meeting in China with the chef. The hook-up bit was completely unnecessary and just a means to remove any sympathy you’d have for her but give a 10x boost to the sympathy you have for poor-put-upon Matt.  Blame Soderbergh ... it was his story & film.
