I would have so loved if somebody gifted me a couple decent makeup brushes at the age of 13. What little disposable income I had that went towards make-up was always spent on product, product, product. Tools are always a terrific gift!

I think a lip gloss and mascara would be appreciated by any 12 yo but if you wanna go the no make-up route, an astringent and skin lotion is good too. Everyone can use that. A little mani-pedi set of tools is great for that age too.
