I've said this a hundred times: he didn't want a weapon! You don't think he would've had a weapon if he wanted one? You think he asked Tormund for a weapon and was told "sorry, can't help you, bro"?

Give the show a chance. You'll be hooked!
But it's not cool to enjoy anything!
If he wanted a weapon, I'm sure he would have made or taken one.
My theory is that Melisandre's sacrifice of Shireen was meant to help the true hero, Jon Snow. Not Stannis. Hence, the unbelievable luck he needed throughout the battle to survive.
Yes I think the show is working towards building a coalition of members (outcasts, actually) from all 7 kingdoms being the eventual rulers. Or maybe that's just my simple, overly-harmonious mind at work again.
Dany's problem, as stated within the show itself earlier this season, is that she excels at conquering, but not so much at ruling during relative peacetime. We are all glad to see all three dragons free, but do you remember why she chained them up in the first place? It's only a matter of time before she must lock…
Hopefully Jon will learn from his mistake.
Aren't they even now after what Baelish did to Sansa?
He was an angry big brother getting revenge on his siblings' tormentor.
All these people saying Jon is a horrible commander obviously have never watched their little brother run towards him while a mad man is firing arrows. He's a human being for gods sake!
But he's inspirational!
Nobody commands Wun Wun. He does what he pleases, and for whatever reason he chooses to fight that way. Maybe it's some Giant tradition or something.
You must be great at parties.
I'm assuming those are the dragons' names?
I don't think Wun Wun was the problem. He did his part you ungrateful bastard! : )
Sure you don't have the flu?
Of course, like being chased by a gator
Littlefinger's had intentions of mobilizing the Vale long before Sansa's request, remember?
I like to think that it was the sacrifice of Stannis's daughter. I really hope that… At least some good from the loss of such a pure soul.
