If Game of Thrones won Best Drama for its weakest season, it's definitely going to win for one of its best seasons. But then even if season six was worse than five, it would probably still win, since we all know how much the Emmys loves its repeats. *looks at Modern Family*
Ah, now what would awards season be without its Oscarbait biopics?
Every year since Gravity in 2013 there's a space movie released in the fall that's critically adored and goes on to be nominated for Best Picture. Looks like this year it's Arrival taking up that mantle.
I've always enjoyed reading your hilarious comments. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors!
Finished The Office. Though it suffers a dip in quality after Michael Scott leaves (how great is this spoiler feature, really?), I enjoyed it. Sure, it was messy in some parts, but the early seasons are golden, and a level of outrageous comedy that other shows can hardly compete with.

And Jesus wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer!
I started Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and holy shit, it's the first show I've seen in a while that I've actually fallen in love with. Rebecca's anxiety and depression feels so true and real, and I can easily relate to her in ways that I can't really with Bojack Horseman or Gretchen from You're the Worst. It's hilarious as…
Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" will always remind me of The Sopranos.
Okay, but make sure to admit that this just a symbolic gesture and no real change will actually happen.
Wow, they really missed the opportunity to title this sequel Jason Bourne Again.
I finished the third seasons of both Person of Interest and The Office. Both were good, and while I know PoI only gets better from here, The Office is apparently going to off the rails and decline in quality in the upcoming seasons. I'm still going to watch it no matter what, but my critical eye is being sharpened for…
And why the fuck isn't this movie on the list at all?!?!
I just watched Inland Empire and I'm so utterly confused. I have no idea what any of it means. I've tried to follow your and Snidely's advice into gaining "entry" into the film, but I just can't.
Can I ask how you go into the field of cinematography? I remember you having a conversation with someone in a different GJI months ago where you both discussed it and how you went to the same film school. As a current high school student with a desire to get into the film industry, what do you think would be the best…
I don't think season 3 was that great, but I absolutely loved season 2 and all of its subplots. If they took the final season in a different direction, it would've been better. I didn't like how everything just sort of ended as well. I'm sure if the show's viewership was higher, the show would've continued, but oh…
I started Person of Interest after seeing all the good comments about it on its finale review. I'm enjoying the first season so far, though I hope it steps out of its case-of-the-week format sometime.
I'm confused why Ramsay took the shot at Wun Wun when he had a clear, open shot at Jon. I mean, the answer is probably just because he likes to fuck around and he wanted to dispense as much torture and pain before his inevitable death, but, still, Jon was right there!
The first minute of the trailer could be for a horror movie, but then the sentimental music kicks in.
