I am once again asking for someone to explain to me how he can always be angry, but not always be the Hulk.

My favorites change year to year. I was trying to make a list, but it would be a Top 45 or so.

“Spring Fever” is almost too annoying for me, but “Cheating” is top 5 for me.  “That you, Student Counsellor?” is too perfect a joke for this world.

Yah, Joel has said previously, he thought “Carnival Magic” would be the breakout episode of Season 11, and “Cry Wilderness’” popularity took them by surprise.   He was using it to illustrate they have no idea which episodes the fans will take to, with the exception of “Manos”, which they instantly knew was, let’s say,

Now playing

Gonna go ahead and post my favorite host segment of all time:

I’m wondering if they’ll ever do a black & white movie again.  None of the Netflix episodes were, and neither of the two announced ones are.

Might be.

I think Ivan mentioned somewhere that for kickstarter backers it works out to $8-$9 a month, and would be higher for non-backers.   But I think he was blue-skying it, he didn’t seem to be giving a definitive answer.

No, no apology necessary. I was agreeing, then giving counter-examples in my own mind. But I agree the bulk of the 90's stuff was super off-track. Jesus, that Sue Storm thing was fucking bonkers.

Yeah, I came up in 90's superhero comics, and looking back . . whoof.

For sure, I’ve only really read from Johns’ run on, and Guy was always a welcome presence.

I liked it.  I like Hal Jordan.

Yes.

O Laserface Where Art Thou?

Well, I think that’s selling Injustice short. Batman and the other members of the resistance are constantly in fear that Superman and/or Wonder Woman are going to punch a hole in wherever they are and just take them all out (which I think happens once). And really only Year Five is essentially Batman vs. Superman,

I thought it was Finn Wolfhard, and I was like ‘man, he aged quickly.’

Yeah, that’s how hes been for a while now. He talks mad shit, especially to authority figures, but his actions are always measured and positive.

Has Keenan been a writer on the show?   No one questions his talents, but anyone replacing Lorne would be completely behind the scenes, which I think is what Fey wants and what Lorne wants.

I’m guessing based on your last sentence that you’re not really interested in an actual response, since google exists. But for those who might be, I’ll post just one article by a semi-disreputable writer:

Well, two things there: Tina Fey has been the front-runner to replace Lorne Michaels since she was the show-runner. It certainly behooves her to be complimentary. But also, she doesn’t have the best track record of judgement herself, based on her repeated use of blackface and other problematic racial jokes.
