I did this a couple years ago. Removed the laminate and did the concrete skim coat overlay on the wood underlay. Sealed it no less than 6 coats. Was super careful about wet things, etc. It bubbled and split it under a month. Grease splashed on it near the stove and ruined it instantly. Water by the ssink destroyed it.…

Here’s hoping they update Google photos interface a lot then. There’s no way looking at photos to tell if it’s in a collection. There’s no duplicate removal. There’s no face tagging.
