incest is the best…especially with gods.

No Gravity? It was my favorite movie-going experience in several years.
That's a shock…but who cares…this is pretty much a hipster list. If Gravity hadn't made a gazillion dollars it would probably be near the top. Visually stunning, and a narrative done in the silence of space. To say there's no story is

Clyde!

Totally off-topic, but why doesn't AV have a link to the Onion anymore?

That was a great episode, and a bittersweet finale. Am I the only one that has gone teary eyed at least once during every episode this season? Damn, I'm gonna miss you Kenny…and Stevie, and maybe April the most. She is my Scarecrow.

Tim could do much better than that.

I had just recently been to see Sondheim's 75th birthday celebration at The Hollywood Bowl in July of 2005 when I had to fly out to NY for business. I caught a performance revival of Sweeney Todd with Patti LuPone and Michael Cerveris. If you don't know about this production the actors all played an instrument during

Also, "I've Got a Feeling" is the title of a really good Beatle song..written 43 years ago

I think the guy who chose 'Life is Beautiful' is just dead wrong. His hipster sensibility shows itself and is a little overwrought, especially when his main argument is that it should not have won awards. Fine, take the oscars away, but what you'll be left with is a film that despite its imperfections,is very

why would Shawshank make the list? It was a film no one expected to be that great and has become one of the most popular films of the last 25 years, deservedly so.
