Many rebuke the Vito story for being unnecessarily lengthy. I agree but I also want to point out Tony's passive-aggressiveness with Carmela's housing inspection.

I'm gonna say what everybody who watches S6 is thinking: Lorraine Bracco did not age very well.

The way Vincent Curatola portrayed Johnny Sack made it seem like John got what he wanted in life through charm and manipulation alone and didn't need to resort to physical violence like Tony.
The NY-NJ war was inevitable but I'm glad the writers chose to use Phil against Tony as opposed to Johnny Sack.
Remember back in S2, Tony flat-out admitted he covered up Richie's death in front of Carmela.
"you gonna eat that?"
LOL
Yes, thank you! Finally somebody else who agrees with me that freeze frame cut was awful. It completely took away the immersion experience in an otherwise fantastic episode.
Keep in mind, the threat regarding the separation of the penile shaft from the body wasn't actually spoken by Carmela but was in fact completely imagined in Tony's mind after he took large dosages of ether.
Young Livia, young Johnny Boy and young Junior are some of my favorite minor characters on the show.
I've a theory that whichever episodes that focus on Hesh's problems turn out to be sub-par.
"you strong-armed me with the only weapon you had….. your pussy"
This has got to be the funniest Sopranos episode.
Svetlana was a great minor character that held her own. She would've been a better goomah than Valentina but she had a strong will that stated her life ought to be better than a gangster's side-piece.
PAAAAAAAULIE!!!!!
CHRISTAFAAAAAA!!!!
"Masticate"

"I loved that cocksucker like a brother and he fucked me in the ass!"
"STOOPID FAKKING PLAY"
The last scene with Tony in all black and Carmela in all red was beautifully written. It cemented for me of how much I dislike Carmela. Tony spent all night doing dirty-work and Carmela, even after finding out what he did, brushed it off and made it about her and her trip.
Everybody criticizes the show for the CGI Livia in season 03 but, holy cow, did you see that terrible CGI garbage in House Arrest?
