Did Needam make that amazing red jumpsuit the blonde woman was marching through Portland in? That was a stunner.

So why did that group get kicked off the plane?
The book Homey Don’t Play That, which covered the buildup and history of the show, is a pretty good read. I’d love to see this panel.
I was thinking the same thing about distance from the beginning of this fiasco. Since then the R Kelly indictment came through, the Leaving Neverland documentary, and now this College admissions scandal, push Smollett’s case further back from “celebrity justice” media coverage, perhaps even to his benefit.
5th Element! No role is too small.
No good reason, but the case, and Jussie, started unraveling before the leaks. The CPD would indicate a need for more information, and Jussie and camp would provide a narrative “they’re blaming the victim”.
Not sure where in US you are, and no aspersions suggested, but in Chicago, it was practically the entire city yelling at the police to tell us anything, and all they could say was how very little they had to go on. Even in a surveillance state, in a downtown area, conspicuously next to nothing to work with. And then…
I find this movie already wholly unfaithful to the original, in that I don’t recall Aladdin ever wearing a shirt, unless he was posing as a prince.
I like the blending in of darker, mischievous characters, like Georgiou and Lorca, to routinely bounce off the starfleet standard issue milquetoast. I loved Deep Space Nine and missed that dynamic, of having spies and warlords wandering around, ready to share a drink at the brothel. The stat fleet officers didn’t lose…
I don’t think this was the best tuna turner song, but it was one of her most high-energy which the lip synch challenges need. True diva could come out in Private Dancer, but it would drain the electricity from the room that had been building, and many of her other songs would lead to back and forth walking and…
A flaw in the satanic temple is it relies on moderately educated and rational people to know it isn’t actually about Satan and blood-drinking rituals, but liberty from religion, more specifically Christianity. I’m a big fan, but the show could have also used an equally wonderful and real church of the Flying Speghetti…
This could be a good tease as to how the Discovery could have been lost, with it’s mycelium drive technology with it, as there is nothing comparable to it since.
Also, we sort of saw 800ish years in the future from ST: Enterprise, and a wasteland Earth courtesy of the temporal cold war. (Are we allowed to acknowledge…
*slides glasses up bridge of nose* “I believe that old lady was a skrull”
I don’t think anyone wants them back together, but he was main cast for season one and two. But last season he was 90% disconnected from the core cast, and I don’t see a way to bring him back in organically. Its prob best they moved on from his character. He was great on the show, but his character ran it’s course.
Absolutely, but this is the same corporation that adopted a child and subjected to a lifetime of forced labor under the lens.
Can Yelp add a racist rating to their profiles, like for Pizza Inn, they get a 3, you can eat there, and they’ll take your money, but won’t honor your coupons...
The Chris Pine/Chris Evans debate is a hot one. Turns out that’s Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Chris Pine tries to help sort it out on Saturday Night Live, but doesn’t really. Chris Pine hasn’t been in the Marvel movies(yet), but you can watch him in Wonder Woman, playing Steve Trevor, or in the new Start Trek movies…
Drowning from Mick Jenkins was part of one of the best sequences on Undsrground. It’s a terrific track.
Bring it on always felt like it was two films. In the preview it seemed there would be a story also centered on the black team the moves were stolen from, and their own perspective. Instead the movie that landed in theaters centered solely on Rancho Carne.
