Why unplayable? I've played tons of Gamecube games in Dolphin at 1080p with all the enhancements turned up all the way and get 30fps. Although, not when using DX10. With DX10 I can only get like 15fps. The speed bump by switching to DX11 is huge.

I completely agree. Everyone I know that owns a PSP (six people), has a custom firmware installed and pirates their games; every single game that has come out in the past 3 years or so.
