“750 miles is about two months of daily use for the average American.”

Looking at their previous engine recalls, I don’t see a downside to this.

You forgot the group that will deny their existence and claim it’s a hoax, even when faced with overwhelming evidence proving otherwise.

I remember it like it was yesterday. The glorious moment that Apple announced you could uninstall pre-loaded apps, including Apple Maps.

I’ve seen more than a few people who bought 2020-2021 Toyota Tacomas for MSRP, put 3,000 to 5,000 miles on the truck, then gotten offers from Carvana for $5-$10k more than they paid for it.

Shitty state, yes…. Illinois is a shitty state.

That is true, meat sacks are more valuable… but in cases where minor accidents without injury begin to cause damage that’s in the 5 figure repair bill range the insurance industry also takes notice.

The auto industry has been moving away from repairability and longevity for a while…

That’s the beauty of this tech… it will greatly reduce being blinded from oncoming and following traffic.

As probably one of a handful of Americans who has been trained on adaptive headlight tech and trained on use and repair of the aiming equipment I can say this:
