David, I had the same wobbly steering wheel issue on my ‘85 Suburban. There are several good YouTube videos about digging in, adding loctite to and re-tightening the four screws that are the issue. It’s maybe a two-hour job, but not difficult. While you’re in there, it’s a good time to replace the multi-function
