Chief?

One day, we'll get a movie that actually makes the most of Joel Kinnaman's talents. Sounds like today is not that day
I'm firmly in the "GotG is more meh than the hype suggests" camp, but Suicide Squad looks about as interesting as a night glo Halloween decoration
Really the secret is getting some sort of shared theme across the waffle batter, the chicken skin, and the syrup (butter optional). I was spoiled in that the first time I had chicken & waffles in Florida involved pepper themes across all of the recipes. Since moving up north, the general approach is put a couple…
During the election season, you might be surprised at how much you'd enjoy watching fictional politicians ably negotiating policy
That was the argument I tried to make with my friends post-movie (I mean, honestly, would you want the most powerful "peacekeeping" weapons in the world being subject to the whims of the UN council?), but a surprising number of them actually that Steve's arguments were completely invalid. They saw too many parallels…
I'm in the same boat. I don't hate that airport scene by any stretch as it was a helluva lot of fun and pure, unadulterated spectacle as it should be done. But there were so many more thrilling and (to me at least) impressively choreographed action sequences in that movie, especially at the climax
But the whole point is that Elliot is terrible and has never really played it. Even if he was a little decent and experienced at the game, I could also see him decide "I'm gonna play crazy and unpredictable so I trick the voice in my head."
Yeah, the journal is something that's really hard to explain away without some sort of institution explanation. But I don't know how they reconcile the whole fake-out of location with Mr. Robot's activity while Elliot is asleep. Like, wouldn't he just move Elliot out of the location and force him to deal with it? If…
If that is the twist, I really hope they reveal it either next week or the week after. I don't know how much more dramatic narrative they can wring out of the whole "Maybe he's hallucinating all of it!" notion. If it goes through to the end, they'll really be dragging that story out for way too long
The biggest flaw I see with the jail/asylum theory is how Mr. Robot is reacting when in control. I mean, there are times when he takes over obviously, so even if Elliot has constructed an elaborate mind palace or whatever to confuse Mr. Robot, why would he continue to believe once Elliot's no longer in control? The…
Not me. I think she made herself up mostly to continue playing the part of dutiful employee who will bend to your every whim (which probably involved flirtation and seduction if needed, although I don't think she wanted to get that far) and get to a position of greater influence. I got the impression that she thought…
White Rose will hack time to go back and save Romero, then they'll go kill Hitler, the end, and then Esmail wins an Emmy
The only issue I see with the hypothesis (at this point) is that we've seen Ray's life independent of Elliot's mind fuckery. If Ray's life traveling between houses and doing what seems like pretty shady things is an elaborate hallucination that Elliot has concocted, what's to stop everything else from being a…
Simple to pronounce names is a proud Stark tradition!
"My son's name is [overly complicated Targaryen name]"
"….yeah, I'm gonna just stick with Jon"
Maybe it's a bit philistine of me, but whenever I watch Stalker, I always think of how it would probably make a great video game. Guess I should check this game out
Okay, settle down Kanye
That makes sense. Part of me is hoping they pull a bit of a twist and actually have the White Walkers break through the Wall halfway through the next season and the war begins early, ends early in the last season, and then they have to deal with the survivors being petty assholes for most of the last season. But that…
I guess I just have trouble believing Cersei will be taken out before halfway through the first season. They've built her up for so long that taking her out early would feel anti-climactic in a lot of ways. Wouldn't be surprised if their effort to take King's Landing was delayed on account of Euron or some other…
That also works. But I can't imagine that would happen until closer to the end of the season. Maybe she'll pull a Season 5 Bran and be mostly absent this upcoming season
