So that’s the third episode in a row of Armisen doing his usual shtick of acting obnoxious way past the point of comedic and even way past the point of tolerable. It was suitable for the modern art episode. In the last two it’s just grating. I thought I missed him in the show. Turns out he just doesn’t work without

Isn’t Armisen supposed to be a legitimate jerk in real life anyhow?? He just strikes me as a particularly disingenuous dweeb.

I’m pretty Armisen-ed out myself. They always put him in the music ones because he can play, not necessarily because he’s the best for the role.

He’s the director of the Hellboy reset that’s coming out next month.  He’s also currently working on the Kong: Skull Island sequel.

Fred Armisen should uh, like um, RETIRE.

Taissa Farmiga in “The Final Girls” was also a very good final girl

I don’t know if it’s just me, but over the past few years (basically since Gawker got canned) it feels like Lifehacker went from tips that make life easier to either a) some weird outrageous clickbaity idea that no one in their right mind would follow or b) something so obvious and simple no one should have to be told

Boutique hotels are different...I am talking about the majority of hotel rooms as an average...obviously they aren’t talking 15 minutes to clean a suite at The Regis...but your bog standard hotel room is 10-15 minutes...they are replacing the towels, any amenities, quick look at the bar fridge, making the bed and

OMG, you are thick.

Do you work at a resort for retirees?

“MILLIONS!”

“Millions of elderly women”

I’m calling BS

I agree with you, for the most part. One of my favorite tenets is, “Be mindful of the work you leave for others.” But what am I paying room fees for? At least part of that is for what the hotel pays its staff. There is a difference between not causing extra work for others, and doing work that I’ve already paid

If she had said it the other way, with the filter between the sieve and funnel, I could understand. Then if there are any larger chunks (still edible) of bacon, the sieve catches them before they go to the filter, which could otherwise get clogged before the funnel and bringing everything to a grinding halt. Plus, the

Right, lifting sacks of grain for 8 hours a day wouldn’t prepare me at all to make beds. Maybe you should quit commenting.

A basic clean (the term for a guest coming back) is 10-15 min max.

This article is pretty clearly for people who go out of their way to make other people’s lives a tiny bit easier.

Sweetie, you can put the coffee filter directly into the funnel. It will strain out the solids, and you avoid washing a strainer.

If everything in this article is separated by the word “and”, you’re basically doing a portion of the laundry, part of the bathroom clean-up, and the bulk of the room re-arrangement “and” paying the person $10 for the pain of an already-mostly-clean room to finish cleaning up. I am nice to servers in restaurants and

$10 per day, per person?!?
