@ironghost: I think most aircraft would reach this deflection before failure. The standards in aviation are typically safety factor of 1.5 (hince 150%). They had a video a few years ago of just a single wing reaching this high at 154% and going BOOM!!! It was pretty crazy.

I was like wtf? until I saw the harley light covers, then I realised that it was just the typical tasteless un-inspiring normality I expect from a harley.

@MushyHeirloom: So what should the owner have said to them? "Hey guys, this is probably the first car you have ever worked on, so don't be a dumb-ass and remote start it in gear. K?"

@footballty98: On the contrary, if you had aftermarket wheels/tires on the car-and the dealership curb-checks it and the tire blows, would it not be their fault? If the dealer chooses to use non-factory components then they must be aware of the risk (ie if they have an aftermarket stereo, dont turn it on and blow

@zombieite: And the sequel to "Worlds Fastest Indian" is "Worlds Fastest BMW".

Not an electrical engineer, but a mechanical (but we spent a good deal of time on electronics)

They probably should have debuted it *before* valentines day...

I have thought about this before and it would be best to have something like this with a polarizable piece of glass behind the screen. Then you can open the laptop and polarize the background to make it non-see-thru. Then when you close it, the polarizing goes away and the SAME screen is shown in reverse (which is

@witeowl: oh no he's got a mirror!

I have a pretty tried-true technique for my 'hdr' photos. I normally only have 1 exposure, and that is all I need (I dont create 3 exposures like some, so its not technically HDR but the results are great and realistic).

I will wait for the popped-collar-ggie. See they always show things to keep you warm while reading books, going to games, but what about the clubbing side of me that wants to be warm AND party?

@PCGUY727: I was referring to the Tour as the phone my mother had. I was just completely dissappointed in that phone, and yes I have used a storm before (again, not my personal phone) and it was acceptable. The typing 'click' thing on the storm was really really annoying though.

@PCGUY727: I'm 24 and have an engineering job. I was helping her setup her phone after she got it and was thoroughly disappointed with the brand new top of the line BB. My crappy chocolate 3 LG is more capable than her BB, there is almost no task she can accomplish faster than my POS (less internet, but I believe

@PCGUY727: Then you must have poor taste. I have tried to use my mother's and I cannot think of a more disappointing device. There is no logic in anything on the user interface and the browser is just terrible. I cant believe BB can make such a horrible horrible device and actually sell it.
