I wouldn't say a Mk1 Capri with a Boss 302 is oddball...it's awesome.

I continue to waffle between desktop and laptop myself. I've always been a desktop person, but it's nice to be able to pick up all your stuff and leave with it. Laptop docks and other accessories make it pretty easy to have a decent stay at home machine. Wireless mouse, wireless keyboard, etc. etc.
