You’re bad at reading comprehension. In “fan-derived code”, the hyphen means that ‘derived’ modifies ‘fan’, i.e. the code came from the fans. It doesn’t mean that the fans got it from the R* binaries. That would be “binary-derived code”.

You probably should look up what the word ‘derived’ actually means because you’re real off base there.

I mean, it would be like asking a medical expert to produce their data, which is how it works...

Conversely, every round of Street Fighter (along with every other fighting game) I’ve ever lost has been due to cheap, flukey, dishonorable play from people using broken, braindead characters with win buttons. Also, lag.

Weird is at least memorable. The designs above are completely forgettable.

I would not have made the connection that those were supposed to be the same characters. Even side by side I don’t really see it. I adored the original games and I'm open to new designs, but I can't say I'm feeling it here. Way too bland.
