Terry Pratchett, not Pratchitt.

I have never known a game to be more hostile to new players. If you weren’t there from the start, Destiny holds you in contempt and makes no effort to onboard you. It sucks, and I’ve ditched the game after two attempts to get into it.
That’s not obscure trivia, that’s the primary thing anyone did in those games. You didn’t even need the import of SC files, just use the unlock cheat I AM THE CEO OF MCDONNEL DOUGLAS, enter the hanger, then exit again - it unlocked along with all the other choppers. If you type RADIOACTIVITY the nuclear reactors will e…
Gaspar’s the one I can never remember.
To be fair, while this may have been the specific method used to hack Axie Infinity on that one hack, if the news is anything to go by all you need to do to hack crypto-anything is simply have the free time.
“you’d think Clarke would be eagerly tuning in, right?”
NoL just because she’s an actor who was in a television program, I’m not an idiot and didn’t childishly assume that inherently made her a fan of said franchise and insult her by asking such a stupidly fannish question. It’s why I don’t expect journalists to call up…
As a non-American, shipping can be goddamn brutal. I can’t afford Prime but there are times when the shipping is double or triple the item you’re buying and the free shipping can really make substantive difference.
Live-streamed shaky portrait-mode footage of someone’s laptop screen with said footage one-third covered by constantly scrolling text from viewers commenting on the footage.
I’ll be honest, everyone, I just straight-up don’t understand why we’re okay with this from the standpoint of ‘visual clarity’ and ‘viewer…
I apparently can’t insert links into comment any more (???) but 12ft [dot] io will get you past most Atlantic paywalls.
Got the credits rolling on Psychonauts 2, would add it to a lift of game that invite joy. - even with its heavy subject matter it approaches it with humour, warmth, and boundless creativity.
Genuine question rom someone who has never played but spent years reading the news: why do people play Overwatch if nothing the game ever does ever makes them happy? Everyone always seems permanently disappointed when they’re not actively angry. So who keeps playing and why?
Stop trying to make ‘Grogu’ happen. It’s never going to happen.
I look forward to the next eight posts about it on Web3IsGoingJustGreat.
That one teaser from way back when looks worse every year. I don’t mean the graphics, I mean the tone—I would hope as a society that we’ve moved past the reflexive belief that grittier, more vulgar, this-ain’t-your-parents-Beyond-Good-And-Evil is an intrinsically worthy endeavour. WE’VE GOT A MONKEY THAT SAYS ‘MOTHERFU…
“If a film isn’t actually good it won’t stick around long.”
Oh boy. I do so love diminishing returns.
That is... kind of wild.
I don’t think I ever met a player who plays D&D RAW when it comes to, say, Nat 20s - which should, RAW-wise, only be for combat rolls. Because the game is bigger than the game, y’know—it is more than just rules-as-written. The traditions and customs of it far exceed anything written in the manuals.
I mean this goes…
I’ve seen just enough of this show to be baffled by this idea. Now the stuff with the Platypus and Doofenshmirtz? Brilliant. But every time they’re not on screen I am pained to understand why I am spending time with two preteen losers when I could be spending time with an adult loser and his anatined frenemy.
Given how often he’s not actually on set and it’s just his body doubles, it’s entirely possible he’s never actually spoken to her.
(You used to be able to hyperlink text but apparently not any more, so here’s a stupid long link about how Bryce Dallas Howard directed an episode of Mando but never had the opportunity…
