As someone who just sat through three bloated hours of the interminable Wakanada Forever: good stories always know how to make time for “little moments that build context and add additional layers”, regardless of run-time. Bad stories fail to do so whether they’re a ninety minute movie or a 22-hour television season.

I was kind of hoping it would start swinging into a New Orleans second line.

Yeah, that’s weird. It almost like they were actors holding props or something and not a real funerary band recording perfectly-captured diegetic music.

Good on you, fiend. Andor is great. Rogue One was shit.

Let me try and say it as the poster failed to: Andor is everything Rogue One marketed itself to be but wasn’t.

I keep hoping the author and Taymor have found a way to reconcile.

Westworld, meanwhile, was unjustly canceled a few months after airing its fourth season”

No. Say what you will about the baffling decision to pull the finished shows off of the streaming service, but cancelling Westworld was an entirely justified decision, give that it was very bad and its audience had cratered.

I would also welcome a limited-run adaptation of Kingdom Come.

A proper adaptation of Batman No Man’s Land, start to finish, with the entire extended Bat Family (except boring Azrael because nobody needs his lousy issues and the... demon politician plotline that goes nowhere), and the proper introduction of Cassie Cain. The works. Gimme the works!

In fact, make it multi-season,

I could make a stab at getting it to run under wine—that sometimes proves unexpectedly fruitful. Mac support will come eventually I feel confident simply because the underlying code is already Mac and Linux compatible - it’s not like they have to port the whole game, just parts of it. Regardless, when I have the money

As a long-time DF player I was ready for a day-one purchase despite it not being available on Mac yet but then I ran right into that $40+ price tag. I am unemployed and it’s Christmas: I can’t justify the expense at the moment. And so I wait.

Imagine looking at the state of the world in 2022 and deciding the best thing you can do with your money at Christmas is to... give it to a multi-millionire.

Wow.

movie merch teases the debut of a certain stellar Princess.”

You said this but then didn’t name Daisy once in the whole article, I don’t understand.

It’s in the expanded edition of the Two Towers.

As someone who thought the books were genius as a kid but who considerably soured on them as an adult I was worried when the show was announced - dreading my social media feeds drowning in discourse I had tired of decades prior, but it never happened. Nobody posted so much as a single gif. I have never yet encountered

Well then you never engaged with a single work of art ever produced in the game, because that’s where it all comes up, constantly. Engravings, artifacts, statues, carvings, everything of that nature. You also can’t have checked any dwarf’s family history, since (other than I think your starting dwarves), they’re all
