Right from the first moments where he see’s Julie Taymor at the bar and she gives him a look of loathing and he reflects on how much he admires and cares for this woman and how the fucking Spider-Man musical destroyed their friendship, probably for ever.
The book is... it’s SAD.
Watched this movie for the first time a few weeks ago, encouraged by The Flop House’s Elliot Kalan’s praise. Loved every second of it.
Everyone with the slightest interest in all this should check out Glen Berger’s Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History, which is at turns jaw-dropping, agonizing, hilarious, and horrifying.
Also, why is the set work so great and the wire work so very awful?
It really needs to be stressed than Elon Musk employs engineers - he is not, himself, an engineer, he is simply a man with a lot of money who never has to suffer consequences for his many failures because, again, he has so much money.
I mean.... not really much like Puerto Rico at all. Taiwan was part of mainland China until 1949, when the government of the Republic of China, in retreat after a long and grueling civil war against Mao’s Communist Red Army, retreated to the island and for one-reason-and-another (mainly Western military support), sat…
I’ve always heard great things about Muv-Luv but have struggled to get through the first game because it’s... kind of a mess. Is it worth pushing through, assuming I can get my weird CD-image copy running through wine again? (I know there’s a newer Steam version but it is A) expensive and B) I don’t own Windows.)
The real news is that Gamespot is apparently still a platform people turn to for press releases.

You seem to have missed the part where the artist paid 50 bucks for someone else's rendering of Boswock's head to use in this awful thing. They didn't even craft the damn face themselves!
Andromeda is... deeply flawed, but I find most of the flaws are narrative/structural problems with pacing and morality. But on a gameplay level it is a lot of fun, even if it has some of the worst loot I've ever seen I a video game - by the game's midpoint where I've already researched everything I'll ever want…
Well now you’ve just gone and made the number-one destination for the vore influencer community.

For me its unwatchable.
Just here to say that as a Canadian who has enjoyed the little cricket I’ve seen I live in continuous misery that cricket is nearly impossible to watch in this country except through punitively expensive cable packages marketed primarily to people who want to watch T20 - which I do not enjoy in the slightest - and…
I own it on the PC and dropped keyboard and mouse for controller ages ago - it plays so much better with a controller.
I have the exact same problem with this game. love its aesthetic, love the story lurking at the edge, don’t enjoy the tedious slog.
I played this game for hours upon hours as a kid, and while I totally recognize my nostalgia goggles I have a real hard time reading this and not getting angry at this slagging of my favourite game.
This is not, I have to confess, a rational response.
Wh... why?
Starship Titanic, a game I am often convinced I am the only person alive who ever played it.
Mad Max is so close to being a truly great game - you can see all the pieces there, but they just lack polish. Its systems all work well but long before the halfway point of the game you can have unlocked the entire skill tree…
