Interesting. I figured they’d have the same chassis and wheelbase. Honestly the weight doesn’t really bother me as the car handles great.

Mines a 4cyl sedan with the same stuff. I dunno how yours weighs 800lbs less. I’ve seen the weight misquoted online before; I believe I checked the door sticker and it said 4000
I have one of these. The ergonomics are horrid. I like the external design except for the sedan’s taillights (got better after the refresh).
Wow I would totally rock that in my Accord
Yeah the original vapes didn’t have much of a punch. The one I have now, though, makes seasoned smokers cough at first. Paradoxically, though, they make you cough less over time. I used to smoke a pack a day and I have noticed my health improve drastically after switching.
Like, actual cigarettes? Here in Canada, they are really expensive. The cheapest is around $10 a pack. Honestly, I’m glad, because if they were cheaper, I might not have been incentivized to start the healthier habit of vaping.
I’m definitely not arguing about the downside of cigarettes. Smoking them was legitimately bad on my body, and I’ve had several family members die due to smoking-related illnesses. I paid about $300CAD every month for that habit, and I coughed constantly. My singing quality dropped. It wasn’t great.
You have to realize though that smoking has been part of various cultures for centuries, if not millennia. Statistically, there’s more chance we’ll go back to pre-industrialist life than quit smoking entirely. This is especially true now that vaping carries a negligible health risk and has “rebranded” smoking,…
I started smoking because it was awesome when drinking and generally felt great. Am I weak-minded? Sure, I’m human, and I’m not sorry about it.
Honestly, I grew up in Canada as a minority in a highly multicultural community. My closest friend is a Muslim from Dubai. I have nothing against embracing other cultures, but I don’t want to be forced into a strict set of religion-based laws.
I’ve decided that I have to ask you a question, because I don’t know who else to ask. I’ve seen a few videos where devoutly religious people March through London streets while verbally attacking citizens, demanding for Sharia law, and calling for the deaths of police officers.
There’s really no point in trying to fight this. I get it, but you’re fighting a losing battle.
I considered submitting this but I’m Canadian and live in a condo. Hurts a lot though. MkIVs are my life, my breath, my soul. I miss mine every single day.
How is this COTD? There’s barely even an insight here.
I miss my Jetta. Everything was either blue or red and it didn’t incessantly make noises at me. The Germans had it right back in the day, and the world had fewer excuses for stupidity.
If you decide to get in a 6000+ pound vehicle and drive it around in public without 100% understanding how to operate it, I don’t really have sympathy for you when you eventually kill yourself.
I actually hate that about my Honda. As if it assumes I’m an idiot. I don’t want multicolored Christmas lights in my car.
Focus groups can suck a dick. Apple, for example, didn’t become the powerhouse it is today by catering to focus groups or giving the user what they want. The user doesn’t know what they want. That’s the whole point. Maybe I have a “poor attitude” but I don’t remember the opposite being a requirement for greatness.
I’m also a designer. How can you not see that this design change is near-negligible? It’s a gear selector that always returns to neutral. Hardly anything incomprehensible. If you can’t figure out this kind of selector, you’re stupid. Period.
I think you misunderstand. If you handed someone a smartphone in 2004, they wouldn’t know how to use it. Things change. If you can’t keep up, you’re stupid.
