RPG for me either means a strict roleplaying game (where you literally play a role or character) or a game with stats, perks, traits, and abilities that are customization which define your character or in-game actions. The term has changed quite a bit over time but I would consider a game like Jagged Alliance 2 to be

I must admit that I too think that too many games lack enough depth in their character creation. A few exceptions like Saints Row 2 stand out where you can literally make ANYONE but they are few and far between.

I disagree. The dialogue is good, yes, but for me it's the politics, the characters behind everything, and their personalities. That being said, too each's own.

I do?

I take it that means no create-a-character or anything?

Honestly, this was the best IDEA for a Game of Thrones game, not a FPS/RPG/Hack-and-Slash (or whatever). People keep trying to make Game of Thrones what it's not and they fail. Crusader Kings 2 can almost perfectly simulate what makes GoT so good.

Yeah, I must admit that sounds like a good boss; one who is honest and realizes his faults and will work to address them. Can't really ask for more then that.

Ha, I found it! First, I had to go to STEAM, download the demo, and then the demo ended allowing me to purchase the full version.

This looks fantastic. I love it when Kotaku post stories like these. Furthermore, this looks like a good game I could really enjoy. Looks like Minecraft mixed with an RTS. Awesome.

I hate to say it but I suspect a majority of the pirates are downloading the game illegally because they cannot or don't know how to legally download the game for an OS like Windows 7. May have been a mistake to limit the release to Windows 8.

I must admit, I don't know who or what that character is either. Is it one of the children you have?

Agreed. I really expected him to be hard to find and less exposed. I was hoping to have a "Waldo" experience.

The player character, perhaps?

Dead god, thank god the media caught this man's handshake.

You, sir, are a complete and utter asshole.

This game looks awesome. All it needs are little portraits for the team members. I'll certainly give this a buy.

This is the heart or mind of the North Korean machine, apparently a pig's nose.

Agreed. I'm certain a few customers will turn away and, furthermore, complain to the business owner causing a ruckus. Of course, the business owner must be professional!

Herman Caine "invented" the 9-9-9 tax plan which is a hallmark of the SimCity series. Obviously, this is the next step to take the "People play SimCity" articles.
