I can see the hidden message about how Valve isn’t totally gonna give up on paid mods, but let’s all have a round of applause for the direct response to the issue here. They dun goofed, they had to backpedal, but they knew that and admitted it plainly. I don’t see 343, Bungie, Ubisoft, or EA doing this.
My only question is, why should we care? If that's how she wants it, good on her. Don't play it like you're taking some kind of stand in the name of cunnilingus. Just do it. She's implying that all men are selfishly against the arrangement she's chosen and then used that rationality to justify what she thinks as a…
Harry Dresden would be proud.
TAS and segmented are too different things. Segmented only means that the levels were not played start to finish in a single sitting. The players attempted the tricks on each level until one play through of each level came out perfectly. TAS uses outside resources to complete the game. Segmented is meant to represent…
At best it's an homage. It's one of the largest and easily the longest mission in Halo 3, paying tribute to Silent Cartographer, Assault on the Control Room and Two Betrayals from Halo 1. Halo 3 had the most fulfilling campaign in the series by far, and it owes much of its success to the fact that it draws inspiration…
"though Gamergate probably has something to do with it"
I think I can SEE what you're getting at, but it sure is an EYE-opening tale about bullying.
I thought this was a generally accepted fact...
I originally commented that the lack of coverage for the other entries in the series was underwhelming, so having been corrected, I would like to rescind any negativity about these. In the end, it's only the author of this article I'm bothered with, for being such a picky (read: petty) fan. Nice wok.
So we're not counting Halo 4 either? It's good artwork, yes, but there's no shortage of amazing Halo creations out there. I don't see what makes this in particular so noteworthy.
The point is that there are longterm goals we want to accomplish or habits we want to build or skills we want to develop - things which we WANT to "be done", but that we do not "feel like doing" at the time. If you want to spend your life only catering to your short term whims and not your longterm aspirations, fine,…
But then you're easier to recognize when they do catch up, and they WILL eventually catch up, because even motorbikes can't get through every gap in traffic. It's not so black and white.
I've also taken to adding items I want to my Amazon wishlist instead of buying them outright, which gives me time to consider if I really want or need them. This has worked very well so far in decreasing my online shopping spending on unnecessary items.
I've done numbers 1, 4, and 5 all this week. I didn't spend MUCH though. Just more than I preferred.
*Plan something, act it out, evaluate its worth, then go back and change the plan for the next cycle.
You have to be able to question, THEN answer what you can, and act accordingly, before evaluating again, otherwise you will find yourself in these infinite loops.
